Classification & opinion of blogs

Based on Meadows(2012) clarified 13 different types of blogs and purposes for each blog. I believed there have more than 13 different types of blogs in the world.

Meadows had classified different types of blogs as below:-

 1         Personal Blog

2          Cultural Blog

3          Topical Blog

4          Business Blog

5          Science Blog

6          Moblog

7          Collaborative Blog

8          Eclectic Blog

9          Educational Blog

10        Directory Blog

11        Forum blog

12        Photo Blog

13        Spam blog (Splog)

 However, there have only 5 types of blogs are most using by people every day. There are personal blog, informative blog, lifestyle/fashion blog, cultural/ travel blog and collaborative blog. (strother 2010)

To clarify different types of blogs, people can identify based on topics, styles of writing, content of blogs and format of blogs.

In my opinion, it is very difficult to clarify different types of blogs as the content of blogs is always having combination information.
